Greetings beautyholics,
After having the hugest desire to start this blog for the longest time, I have finally gotten around to it. Despite some initial issues with finding a URL (there are lots of them with "skin deep" in the title), I got it off the ground and am writing what is for me a very precedented first post.
This blog will be very beauty-centric, if not exclusively so. I feel that the niche for beauty in the media is still wide open - particularly in Australia - and I want to fill it. Beauty is too often thought of as an aside, an element of fashion that complements clothing, but isn't recognised enough in its own right. Getting it recognised and at the forefront is my mission! I may not be able to do it all by myself, but I'm considering this one small step for beauty, one giant leap for Skin Deep (rhyme unintended).
So please stay tuned for all the latest in beauty - from cosmetics to perfume, to nail lacquer, tooth whitening, hair wrangling and beyond. I may not know everything but I'll give it my best shot to bring you all the views, news and reviews I can uncover.
